Kelly grew up in Minnesota and was raised to enjoy the many outdoor activities The State of 10,000 Lakes offers. She completed her under-graduate and graduate programs in Human Resources Management at Concordia University of St. Paul. While working through her courses, she volunteered for the MN DNR, netting and tagging fish, assisting with inner-city fishing clinics for children, and in the Walleye hatchery processes. She also spent time volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, showing her mentee many never-before experienced activities in the outdoors.
Kelly’s passion for the outdoors brought her to Summit County where she is able to enjoy all of what the high country has to offer with her family. She enjoys archery, fishing, camping, biking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowboarding.

Zoology- I have always had a fascination with how the animal kingdom interacts with the environment and the lessons that can be learned from the observation of animals in their natural habitats.
