Give a Campership
We believe every child deserves camp. Camp teaches kids valuable social skills, independence, and bonds people together like few other experiences. We bring in the added element of outdoor education, combining science, adventure, and fun to create life-changing experiences for every child we serve.
What is a Campership?
A Campership is a scholarship that provides a deserving child with the opportunity to attend one of our camp sessions. Each Campership supports one or more children between the ages of 5 to 17 to attend one of our Summer camp programs: Day Camp, Discovery Camp, Counselor Assistant Program, or Keystone Mountain Adventures. Each program offers dynamic, hands-on programming that blends science, adventure, and fun and provides campers the opportunity to expand their education, develop as leaders, and make a difference in the lives of others. Programs incorporate a variety of engaging activities including challenge hikes, whitewater rafting, campfire chats, and group initiatives.
Benefits to Donors
Camperships provide an opportunity for local businesses and individuals to make a difference in the lives of children in their own communities. By investing in a child, donors are investing in the future of this community. Keystone Science School staff works closely with donors to choose a Campership recipient. In some cases, donors request a specific recipient; others prefer to let our staff select an awardee.
