Affordable Camp & Childcare for Local Families
- Your donation allows us to offer income-based discounts on our summer Day Camps for Summit School District families. This ensures that local parents and guardians can work during the summer, knowing their children are engaged in quality, educational childcare without financial strain.
Bringing Outdoor Education to More Schools
- With donor support, we provide discounted rates to schools that might not otherwise afford our outdoor education programs. Your generosity helps bring hands-on, science-based learning to more students, fostering curiosity and a love for the outdoors.
Making Summer Camp Accessible for All
- We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of summer camp. Donations fund camp scholarships, ensuring kids from all income levels can participate in unforgettable adventures at KSS.
Catalyst Program
The Catalyst Program is a community of leadership-level supporters who give $1,000 or more annually and play a critical role in shaping the future of Keystone Science School.
We call these supporters “Catalysts” because your generosity functions exactly the way a catalyst does in science. You make transformation happen faster, farther, and at a greater scale. Your support turns possibility into momentum.
Just as KSS is often the first spark in a young person’s passion for science, adventure, and environmental stewardship, Catalyst donors are the first spark that makes those life-changing experiences possible.
Make a pledge
You can make a pledge in two ways.
Option 1
Please fill out our Pledge Form (PDF) and either mail to the address above or email it to our Development team at development@keystonescienceschool.org.
Option 2
Please click here, to email your pledge to KSS. Be sure to include the following information in your email: your gift amount, the way you intend to give your gift (check, wire transfer, other) and how you would like your gift to support Keystone Science School (General Fund, KSS Scholarship Fund, etc).

Legacy Giving
KSS is grateful to receive gifts of any size in support of our mission and in honor of the legacy of our generous donors. An endowed fund to KSS was established through The Summit Foundation in 2015. There are many ways to support us through Planned Giving from a planned gift through your IRA, a qualified retirement plan, or a bequest of a legacy gift through your will or trust.

Give a Scholarship
Keystone Science School’s scholarship programs make it possible for every child to learn science outdoors, develop their critical thinking skill sets, and meet new friends.
Camp Scholarships
We believe every child deserves camp. Community-minded individuals and businesses commit scholarship funding to support our Campership programs for children ages 5 – 17. By sponsoring this financial aid program, you can help a child experience one of our camp programs.
Call for Scholarship Committee Members!
Scholarship recipients are determined in collaboration with a Scholarship Committee. Our Scholarship Committee reviews all applications. Members are given detailed instructions to assist with their review of applications and the completion of a rubric that guides their recommendation of awards. KSS is currently seeking Scholarship Committee members to review applications to our summer programming.
