KSS is grateful to receive gifts of any size in support of our mission and in honor of the legacy of our generous donors. An endowed fund to Keystone Science School was established through The Summit Foundation in 2015. There are many ways to support The Science School through Planned Giving from a planned gift through your IRA, a qualified retirement plan, or a bequest of a legacy gift through your will or trust.
Has KSS made a lasting impact in your life or the life of someone you love? You can leave your own enduring imprint at Keystone Science School by helping to ensure our future with a planned gift. No matter what kind of bequest you are considering, there are so many ways to shape your legacy.
A bequest is one way to leave a legacy gift to Keystone Science School. A bequest is simply a gift you make through your will or trust which indicates your desire to leave something of value toward Keystone Science School future work. A charitable bequest can be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the value of your total estate, a particular asset, a gift of stock or life insurance or even real estate.
A planned gift may also be made through your IRA, a qualified retirement plan, life insurance, or a trust and your gift may be a percentage of your estate or a stated dollar amount. Some planned gifts can even provide an income stream to you or the person you designate, and may generate a current income tax deduction for you, the donor. In many cases, making a charitable planned gift can help your loved ones offset estate taxes.
Gifts of all shapes and sizes are welcome. The spirit behind every gift is the same. For more information about planned giving opportunities at Keystone Science School please contact Mike Pasquarella at (970)368-4082 or email.
