An Evening Under the Stars

April 24th, 2026


Our incredible astronomist, AstroMark, will show guests the night sky using the newly upgraded Observatory telescope on campus, in addition to other celestial programming. This is your chance to join us for a first hand taste of what our visiting schools experience on their immersive field trips to KSS! 

Speaker Series

Launched in October 2024, the KSS Speaker Series is designed to provide engaging and educational discussions about our local environment, science, and outdoor recreation. These talks are often free and open to the public, making them a great opportunity to bring your friends and family to learn from industry experts.

Spring Volunteer Day

May 16th, 2026


Come volunteer at our Spring volunteer day. This is a time for the Keystone Science School community to come together and prepare our campus for the upcoming season. We welcome all ages and will have a variety of volunteer projects for adults and children.

HPG Sour Release Party

June 27th, 2026


Keystone Science School has partnered with Angry James Brewery to make a Hot Pink Gorilla Sour Ale, with part of the proceeds supporting KSS!

Join us at the release party at Angry James on Saturday, June 27th from 3pm-6pm and grab a commemorative glass!

50th Anniversary Gala

July 18th, 2026


In 2026, we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary with a 50th Anniversary Gala celebration.

Hosted on our 23-acre campus in Keystone, the Gala will honor the individuals, efforts, and programs that have shaped generations of youth for the past 50 years while looking ahead to the next 50 years.

Summer Celebration

This free community celebration marks not only an incredible summer season, but five decades of curiosity, connection, and impact made possible by you!

Fall Volunteer Day

Come volunteer at our Fall volunteer day. This is a time for the Keystone Science School community to come together and prepare our campus for the upcoming season. We welcome all ages and will have a variety of volunteer projects for adults and children.

Gear Drive

All Year Long!


Many students come to KSS unprepared for the mountain experience. To ensure each student has a positive experience we provide them with the necessary warm clothes and outdoor gear. We are requesting donations of any warm clothes and outdoor gear to meet our increased needs.

All Year Long!


Learn about KSS’s historical campus, and take in the beauty of our 23-acre campus and facilities. We’d like to invite you to a free guided tour of campus, taking place Mondays and Thursdays at 2pm.
