An Evening Under the Stars
A Night of Celestial Wonder at the Keystone Science School Observatory
October 2nd, 2026 at 6:30pm
The KSS Outdoor Education team will guide guests through an evening of exploring the night sky using the large Observatory telescope on campus, along with other hands-on celestial programming. This is your chance to join us for a first hand taste of what our visiting schools experience on their immersive field trips to KSS!
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be offered throughout the evening. This event is both indoors and outdoors – there will be heaters outside but please dress appropriately.
We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!
All attendees should note that closed-toed shoes are necessary and heels will not do well on the observatory steps. Please consider wearing flat shoes that evening.

6:30 PM – Event Begins with a Welcome from KSS Staff
6:35-7:00 PM – Brief Astronomy Program
7:00 – 9:00 PM – Astronomy Stations Open for Attendees
