Girls in STEM: Water in the West

October 20-22


Participants will learn about water management in Colorado and the western United States as they come to a consensus around solutions to a water management problem. Over the three-day program, participants will learn about watershed science, water management strategies, and challenges faced by real-world water management stakeholders.

Harvest Camp

October 27-29


Harvest Camp is an opportunity for campers new and returning to connect to the wonders of autumn at Keystone Science School. Come enjoy all the fun the Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos season offers. We’ll explore the ways our natural environment has changed from summer to fall and study flora and fauna in transition.

Beyond the Classroom

November 1-3


Beyond the Classroom is a 3-day professional development workshop for 4th-12th grade teachers and informal educators. Teachers will receive curriculum and training to explore local and regional issues using KSS’s non-biased framework, along with a complete set of lesson plans to facilitate an issues-based curriculum in their classroom.

H2O Outdoors

November 1-3


H2O Outdoors is a 3-day program teaching high school students about the many uses of water and the policy which surrounds how Colorado’s water is managed. Students will be learning about careers within water management and conducting field-based research as they learn about the various stakeholders who work to manage our water.
