Keystone Science School Leadership Change

Keystone Science School CEO, Kim Krebs, is stepping away at the end of September 2024 after a year of dedicated service to our organization.  Ms. Krebs is responsible for advancing many areas of the organization and has sustained our strengths and improved our capabilities.  Her achievements will allow us to continue to support the community and provide a fun learning experience for children of all ages.

Our mission states, “With the outdoors as a backdrop for learning, Keystone Science School inspires curiosity and critical thinking through the lens of science to change lives and strengthen communities”.  We are proud of our school, our programs and our campers/students. In 2024, we are projecting a 10% improvement over last year in enrollment in our popular summer programs, girls in STEM, and Harvest Camp Fall Adventure Programs.  With our currently booked outdoor education programs, we are projected to serve 2,436 students by the end of the year which is nearly 10% more than last year, and we still have more available dates to fill!

The Board of Directors has developed a transition plan and will begin a search for a new leader who will build upon the progress made and guide KSS into the next phase of our exciting journey.
